Kaufman & Company’s New York Office Announces Strategic Relationship With Esteemed Legal Ethics Attorney David A. Lewis

National trial and litigation law firm Kaufman & Company, PLLC announces its strategic relationship with David A. Lewis Law PLLC and its appointment of David Lewis, Esq. as Of Counsel in the firm’s New York office. David A. Lewis Law PLLC represents lawyers and law firms in all areas of legal ethics, professional liability and risk management, as well as working through issues of disciplinary exposure, financial risk and conflicts of interest. David represents lawyers and law firms wherever the rules of professional conduct come into play, from partnership disputes and conflicts of interest to privilege and confidentiality issues.

David’s prior positions include a three-year term as Chair of the New York City Bar Association’s prestigious Professional Responsibility Committee. He has also served on the state level, with the New York State Bar Association’s Committee on Standards of Attorney Conduct. A passionate teacher, David also served as an Adjunct Professor of Law teaching Legal Ethics & Professional Responsibility at Cardozo Law School.
David earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A. in Political Science cum laude from Colgate University. He is admitted to practice in New York, as well as in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
